The re-ordering of the entry level of City Hall allowed Lincoln City Council to evaluate the visiting customer experience. Clear way finding within the existing structure was essential with new property shops, housing reception, self-service zones and customer enquiry stations spinning out from a central reception area. A direct relationship is formed between the council and customer within a controlled environment utilising lightweight glazed screens to open up views of the council workers.
