Located adjacent to the Scawby conservation area the convenience store reflects the design and scale of its context to integrate this new service within the village.

Prominent features throughout the building include traditional stonewalling, feature stone dressings and ornate brick detailing. Such vernacular architectural motifs are used within the scheme to offer visual interest and delineate the openings and entrances to the store.

Using high-quality materials these traditional details are given subtle accentuations through variations in the colour and texture of the facing materials.
