The project involved the refurbishment of an existing historic warehouse into an office and depot facility for the City of Lincoln Council.

The unique structure of the brick warehouse presented an opportunity to provide a contemporary working environment. The challenge of the project was to balance architectural, engineering, value and functional considerations.

Sustainable features incorporated into the refurbishment include natural ventilation using sensor operated louvres, solar thermal hot water heating, low energy fittings and rainwater harvesting.
