The overall project provides over 1300 student bed spaces adjacent to the existing Lincoln University campus for the client Bournston Developments Ltd. The first phase consisted of 190 bed spaces set within a nine storey landmark structure. Built with brickwork, architectural fairfaced blockwork (Twinbloc) and smooth cladding panels, the building represents a contemporary approach to student accommodation. The proposal is modelled to provide a strong composition with carefully regulated building rhythms to generate order and repetition across the site.
