The building provides 24 luxury apartments situated within the heart of the marina development at Burton Waters near Lincoln. Marine Point has two main faces; one addressing the water’s edge and one that faces the land where residents arrive and enter the building. The overriding impression on arrival is that of a brick warehouse emphasised by small punched window openings. The façade presented to the waterside has a more open aspect, with expansive glazing set within projecting timber bays that take advantage of the marina. Overall the building provides an architectural vocabulary reminiscent in scale of a 19th Century warehouse, yet tailored to suit the requirements of a contemporary waterside setting.
